Digital Detox

4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Harold Washington Library Center

Description

Our digital footprint is the collective sum of data that we have left in bread crumbs all over the internet. Tidbits of information about us are left all over the internet- from Google search engine results of old news articles, social media pages, people search engines and old forums. Why should we care about this information and how do we begin to clean up and take ownership over our digital life?  Let's begin to answer these questions together, led by Lucy Parsons Lab.

How to Attend

This event takes place in person. Masks are strongly encouraged in all CPL locations. Questions about visiting the library? Check out our Using the Library FAQs.
