Join an outdoor concert with Chris Walz and enjoy music from Big Bill Broonzy and Muddy Waters.
"Big Bill Broonzy blazed a lot of trails. From Scott, Mississippi to Little Rock, Arkansas to Chicago, he always played the music that was in tune with what people were listening to. Along the way, he helped a lot of other up-and-coming musicians get their start in Chicago. Probably the most recognized is Muddy Waters. Playing songs of both Big Bill Broonzy and Muddy Waters, using selections of recordings of these two great blues giants, and reading passages from Bob Reisman's book, I Feel So Good, Chris will illustrate how Big Bill Broonzy helped Muddy Waters get his start in the Chicago Blues Music scene."
The concert will be outside, weather permitting. Please bring a chair or blanket to sit on.
