Things I Wish I Knew: Grow Your Own Food

4:30 PM – 5:30 PM

Description

Join Jenny and Nate to talk about things we wish we knew! For this program, we will chat about growing herbs and vegetables in containers and small gardens. We will focus on growing from a seed versus a starter plant, when is the best time to get started, spacing out and designing your garden, and we will give some ideas on easy vegetables to grow in a small space. We will also highlight the CPL branches that have seed libraries available throughout Chicago.
