Canva is a robust cloud-based digital design tool that can be used to make anything from posts for social media to event flyers, and even stylized resumes. It is a great resource if you are interested in dipping your toes into digital design in a user-friendly way.
This short class will demonstrate navigating Canva and getting started with different features and format types. We will complete a follow-along tour followed with independent work time at the end if you'd like to test your new skills and get feedback and tips.
If you would like to follow along, please create an account on Canva.com prior to attending this virtual session. There is a paid version, but the free version is amazing and has plenty of options for beginners to more advanced users.
This event is hosted by Rachael from the Richard M. Daley Branch who enjoys digital design and exploring open source tools like Canva.
