Drawing a Portrait with Likeness

6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Description

When creating portrait art, capturing the essence of the model is most satisfying! In this workshop with Maker-in-Residence Faith Humphrey Hill, we’ll talk about measurement techniques that will ensure an accurate facial rendering and we’ll discuss tips to capturing the personality of the person you’re drawing. We will be using digital drawing tools but most content will be relevant to traditional media as well. Work from the provided reference photo or use your own.
