An archivist from CPL’s Northside Neighborhood History Collection shares images of Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood in the 1980s and 1990s from the Robert W. Krueger Photograph Collection. Included are images of some of Uptown’s more well-known landmarks as well as less famous locations that played important roles in the daily lives of community members.

Tune in for a special series of videos featuring archival material related to Chicago’s neighborhoods. CPL archivists and librarians showcase secrets and treasures from the archives that highlight our city’s history.
