Neighborhood Tour:Alleys and Other Curious Corners

12:00 PM – 12:30 PM

Chicago loves its alleys. This tour will take about the history of alleys and backyards and how Chicagoans have continued to use them for transportation, storage, gatherings, and other matters. It will be a meeting of many worlds as we look at the good, the bad, and the other of these unsung titans of the built environment.

Join us for virtual neighborhood tours, featuring host and urbanologist Max Grinnell, as we explore the people, places and communities that make Chicago's neighborhoods so special!

How to Attend:

This event will take place live on CPL's YouTube channel. and CPL's Facebook page. Can't make it to the live stream? We'll archive the video on YouTube to watch later as well.
