Preparedness with Pedro

10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Daley, Richard M.-W Humboldt

Description

American Red Cross AmeriCorps volunteers will be presenting "Preparedness with Pedro."

This workshop is a 30- to 45-minute preparedness education program for grades K-2 that teaches students how to be prepared and take action for either home fires or a local hazard.

This in-person program will be limited to 8 participants. Pre-registration will be required.

For kids ages 5 to 8.

September is National Emergency Preparedness Month and the Richard M. Daley Library branch, along with community partners, wants to raise awareness about the importance of being prepared for disasters and emergencies that can happen at any time.
