Join Hall Branch for a discussion of Trailblazer: A Pioneering Journalist's Fight to Make the Media Look More Like America by Dorothy Butler Gilliam. Gilliam has been a journalist for more than six decades. Despite overwhelming odds, innumerable obstacles, and hostile work environments, Gilliam pressed on with great resolve and grace, coming into her own during the Black Power and Women's Movement. Even today, she gives voice to the change needed to make the media more inclusive of all Americans.
