Join historian Julia Bachrach and archivist Johanna Russ, curators of From Swamps to Parks: Building Chicago’s Public Spaces, for a gallery tour and lively talk about the exhibit which highlights some of the city’s most iconic park buildings, landscapes and monuments. The curators will provide insights about their research and the vast collection of materials from the Chicago Park District’s archives that are now available to researchers at the Special Collections Department of Harold Washington Library.
Please note, this is one of three gallery talks. The content of the gallery talks will be the same. Just sign up for the time slot that works best for you!
