Fix a Flat Bike Workshop

6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
Sulzer Regional

Description

Would you like to learn how to fix a flat on your bike or need to refresh your skills? A representative from local bike shop, BFF Bikes will be on site to demonstrate just how to do that. BFF Bikes believe that "changing a flat is not only a useful skill but it’s also a safety issue. If you can change a flat yourself, you don’t have to be stuck away from home, or rely on the kindness of a stranger to help you out."

Hands-on instruction provided so feel free to bring a bike. Weather permitting we will meet outside of Sulzer Library at the south end of the building. In case of bad weather we will meet inside. Class is limited to 10 participants and masks will be required.

The safety and health of our patrons and staff is our priority. We’re requiring all visitors over age 2 to wear masks that cover nose and mouth. If you do not have a mask, we will provide disposable masks. CPL staff wear masks at all times.

When visiting the library, maintain at least six feet of distance from staff and other patrons. Stay home if you or someone in your group are experiencing symptoms of any illness per order of the Chicago Department of Public Health.
