Reading Buddies: Independent Readers

4:30 PM – 5:00 PM

Description

Do you need practice with your reading skills? Join Ms. Mary from the Archer Heights Branch in this small group program for kids to read together.

This session is for kids who are reading on their own. The books we read have chapters, fewer pictures, rich vocabulary, detailed phrases and sentences and more complex plots and themes.

Some examples are: Barkus by Patricia MacLachlan, the Mercy Watson series by Kate DiCamillo, and Meet Yasmin! by Saadia Faruqi.
