Join the West Englewood Branch for an online watch party for the documentary Period End of Sentence.
In a rural village outside Delhi, India, women lead a quiet revolution. They fight against the deeply rooted stigma of menstruation. “Period. End of Sentence.” — a documentary short directed by Rayka Zehtabchi — tells their story.
As part of the Teen Summer Challenge, every week we will provide programming to assist Teens complete their Pick 4 board.
We will stream this documentary via Zoom. No Netflix account is needed, unless you would like to stream on your own during the watch party. You can talk about the documentary while we watch in the Zoom chat, and we will have a few minutes after the movie for more discussion. This online event is presented by the West Englewood Branch.
