Eat more veggies!
Hey senior adults did you know that June is National Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Month? Growing delicious and nutritious sprouts on your kitchen counter is an easy and fun way to eat healthier. Join us for a virtual chat as we share helpful tips on how to start your own counter-top garden and explore the nutritional benefits of sprouting. Register online, pick up a mini kit and then then join us virtually and make some new friends.
Stop by the Assistive Resources Center and pick up a mini kit with everything you need to start sprouting including a mason jar and seeds. You only need to add water!
Mini Starter Sprouting Kits are available for pick-up at the Assistive Resources Center on the fifth floor of Harold Washington Library Center through June 30 while supplies last.
