Happiness can be cultivated by some very simple practices. Yoga incorporates many of these practices that help regulate emotions, reduce stress, build competence and confidence, and help connect to one’s body.
Join Donna, a former elementary teacher, and current yoga instructor, for an introduction to the practices of yoga and mindfulness.
• Learn breathing techniques and yoga poses.
• Create a Gratitude Journal and mindfulness activities.
• Learn to recognize and express their emotions in a proactive way.
A packet of supplementary material will be available for pickup at your local CPL location.
This event is recommended for children ages 8-12.
Parents/guardians of attendees must complete a waiver before the webinar.
