Make Music Chicago: Hugo's Elvis: Swoon'n & Croon'n, Rock'n & Roll'n

4:00 PM – 5:00 PM

The Uptown Branch welcomes Hugo's Elvis as part of Make Music Chicago, a free, citywide celebration of the musician in us all that takes place June 21 of each year. We will be having several musicians throughout the day in front of the branch entrance. Please see the other listings and join us for the music and the fun.

Hugo Colín, 20, has been a huge fan of Elvis Presley since the age of two. Now Hugo presents a dynamic, professional and educational tribute to the King of Rock 'n Roll with a clear-cut mission statement: keep his memory, image, and music alive as Chicagoland's youngest Elvis Tribute Artist.

And by committing himself to this task since kindergarten, Hugo strives to take us all back over 60 years to a special time in music history with his re-creation of the icon’s vinyl, movie and concert recordings.

It is a great honor and joy for Hugo to help keep the songs, style, and legend alive for the enjoyment of life-long Elvis admirers and introduce the legend to a brand new generation of fans.
