Let's Get Zen: The Practice of Compassion

The Popular Library at the Harold Washington Library Center invites you to join us online via Zoom for a special program of Zen meditation. Albert Gonzalez, a teacher at the Buddhist Temple of Chicago for over ten years, will continue his demonstration series with an exploration of the practice of compassion through Zen techniques. No special equipment or previous experience with any style of meditation is required, but loose, comfortable clothing is recommended. All ages are welcome, brought to you by the Popular Library at the Harold Washington Library Center.

How to Attend:
This event takes place on Zoom. Register at least 24 hours before the event. Only one registration per household required. Participants will receive an email with a link to the secure Zoom meeting 24 hours before the meeting. By registering for this event, you agree to abide by the Library Use Guidelines.
