Give the Audience Your Confession

1:00 PM – 2:30 PM

Description

This workshop will focus on revealing confessional poetry and the healing properties of telling your side of the story. We’ll go over the confessional poetry of Sylvia Plath, Anne Sexton and several others. Then we will talk about what happened to you, what stories people need to hear or read, then add a little flair to keep
readers interested.

Deonte Osayande is a writer from Detroit. His nonfiction and poetry have been nominated for the Best of the Net Anthology, the Pushcart Prize and a Digital Book Award.
