This week's activity: Flights of Fancy
How does a helicopter fly? How do air pressure and air resistance work together to help an aircraft stay aloft? Explore the forces of flight and create multiple iterations of your own twirling helicopter.
For kids 7 and up and their caregivers.
How to Attend
This program will take place on Zoom but we will be providing kits containing materials to be used during this program. To register and request a kit be sent to your local branch of Chicago Public Library for pick up, please see the registration info to the right.
We will provide materials to make helicopters but we ask that you provide your own scissors, tape, and markers or colored pencils.
You’ll receive an email with a link to the secure Zoom meeting about 24 hours before the meeting. By registering for this event, you agree to abide by the Library Use Guidelines.
