Dementia Friendly Initiative: Virtual Town Hall

12:00 PM – 1:30 PM

Join us as Dr. Cheryl Woodson presents a Dementia Friendly Initiative: Virtual Town Hall. Like so many other women, Dr. Woodson juggles several roles and tries to drop only the rubber balls. She is a wife, mother, doctor, businesswoman, educator, and author. She has earned a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and is an experienced family caregiver who navigated her mother's 10-year journey with Alzheimer's disease. She is also and entertaining, informative, and inspiring speaker whom the New York Times called "a frank and funny woman."
We will explore critical issues in three informative sessions:

  • The Pandemic, Dementia, and Social Isolation
  • The Lived Experience of the Male Caregiver (for men only)
  • Presenteeism: Juggling Work and Caregiving
