How do you picture your life after high school? No idea? Great, because we're here to help you figure it out! After High School is a series of virtual workshops dedicated to assisting teens and their families with post-secondary decisions. So whether that means college, trade schools, jobs, or a plan uniquely designed by you, tune into one of our online sessions for reliable information and advice!
This session will focus on essays for college and scholarship applications. We can help you choose a topic and get started, or if you already have a draft of an essay that you're ready to revise, we can help with that too!
In addition to working at the library, your host for this session, Rachel, teaches writing to teens and has helped many high school students craft compelling college essays. No one can write your essays for you, but having an outside eye on your work can help you find your focus, catch pesky mistakes, and identify gaps in your storytelling so that your voice and personality shine through.
