Description

Join us for the exhibit opening ceremony of Continuing the Legacy: Celebrating 60 Years of Debutante Cotillions with The Links, Inc. Chicago Chapter.

Gwendolyn B. Lee, Past National President of The Links, Inc., gives a short greeting and introduction. Micah Materre, an Emmy Award-winning journalist and anchor of the WGN Evening News, moderates a panel discussion with past Link debutantes. Three Link debutantes from cotillions in different eras (including the very first 1961 cotillion) discuss what it meant, and continues to mean, to be a Link debutante.

The exhibit opening and reception immediately follow the panel discussion.
