Description

Think about the moments that changed you and made your life worthwhile. Iliana Genkove, who is a published science writer, blogger and a memoir writer will teach you to write your stories down in a memoir for yourself, your family, or for a other readers. 

Genkove learned to teach memoir writing in the masterclass of Beth Finke - a published Chicago author of two memoirs. You will learn about the memoir genre, write for a while, and get some encouragement to go on writing. If you aspire to write a personal essay, a collection of meaningful life stories, or a memoir, please join us.   

The exhibition, Poetry for the Senses by poets who were inspired by Beth Finke is in the Albany Park Branch multipurpose room from November 4 through November 20.
