Season Finale: Inhuman Conditions: A Game of Cops and Robots

April 24, 2019 (4:30 PM – 6:00 PM)
Harold Washington Library Center

Inspired by the One Book One Chicago “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?” please join us for a test of deceptions and malfunctions with the game Inhuman Conditions. Coming off the success of their 2018 Kickstarter success, the creators will be offering 5 minute investigations of robots masquerading as humans. Or are you a human having difficulty proving your biological history?

Each game has one Investigator and one Suspect. Armed only with two stamps and a topic of conversation, the Investigator must figure out whether the Suspect is a Human or a Robot. Sound familiar? Come play this fun, short game with us, win OBOC swag and then join us afterwards for a screening of Blade Runner.

This program is a part of the 2018-2019 One Book, One Chicago season, exploring the theme Imagine The Future and the book Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Dick. For more information on other events, visit
