Operatic Book Club with Opera on Tap

Description

Operatic Book Club is a recital series highlighting works that are adaptations of literature. This recital focuses on artists, composers and authors who have ties to Chicago. Opera on Tap seeks to promote opera as a viable, living and progressive art form and to support the developing artists who continue to keep the art form alive. This program features works that are settings of texts by Sylvia Plath, F. Scott Fitzgerald and Willa Cather.


This program is presented as part of One Book, One Chicago's 2015-2016 season, exploring the theme of "Chicago: The City That Gives."

Seating in the Cindy Pritzker Auditorium is first come, first served, limit of 385.
