Don’t forget that April 5-12 is Money Smart Week, a public awareness campaign designed to help consumers manage their personal finances. Launched in 2002 by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, the Library has hosted programs and workshops on various financial literacy topics since its inception. Please take time to attend one (or more!) of these free and very informative programs presented by Money Smart Partners throughout Chicago and the metropolitan area. It costs nothing but your time and may save you much in the long run. The Chicago Public Library hosts Money Smart programs throughout the year. Check out these titles and search our online databases for additional resources to help you make informed decisions for a financially secure future.
