Another Johnny Depp & Tim Burton team-up gave us the result many didn't expect to this day, the result being a funny, respectful homage to a man who made his dreams come true, but in the most awful ways imaginable. He made B movies that…

Maybe not factually accurate (supposedly Bela Lugosi was a stand-up man who never cursed), but definitely entertaining. Johnny Depp is great as the bizarre Ed Wood and the Oscar turn by Martin Landau is perfection!

“A guy who likes angora sweaters.”
I remember this line from the 1990’s when the film came out, still funny in 2022. Quirky film, JDepp is excellent! Plus ya got Bill Murray & SJOarker first film, I think.
What??? Cameo Patricia Arquette…

An engaging and funny biopic about someone who loved making movies but was really bad at it, by someone who loves making movies and is pretty good at it. Excellent acting, including from Johnny Depp playing Ed Wood (rather than Johnny…

🧛♂️ You know Ed Wood, but not as the US Marine who fought at Tarawa wearing women's undergarments and returned to civilian life writing porno novels while wearing Angora sweaters. The movie really centers on the performance of Martin…

Having never seen an Ed Wood or a Bela Lugosi movie, I was not very familiar with the story but I enjoyed the movie. Not a huge fan of black and white film but I like anything that Tim Burton and Johnny Depp do.

The movie Ed Wood is a comical, and, at times, heart-felt, tribute to that very same director, Ed Wood Jr., who has been unanimously voted, over and over again, as 'Worst Movie Director Of All Time'. After watching this flick I find it…

what must it feel like to be Tim Burton? this is a wildly inspired movie made in the style of Ed Wood's films. All the actors were great, but Martin Landau gave a surprisingly poignant performance as the elder Bela Lagosi.

I just watched "Plan 9 From Outer Space" with the additional "Flying Saucers Over Hollywood: The Plan 9 Companion" bonus film documentary accompanying it about a week ago, so that made it so much easier to relate all the references and…

ED WOOD is a very strange movie and I mean that in the best of ways. It shows comedic quirk, sometimes dark and other times light, and it takes a certain kind of sense of humour to enjoy this kind of film, but legions of Burton fans (as…

As a bio-pic, I’m not certain how accurate an image we get of Edward D. Wood, Jr., but apparently his widow was consulted and felt quite positive about it in the end, even loving Mr. Depp’s portrayal of her late husband. Inevitably,…

This is a movie that i really enjoy, it is simply well acted, well written, and well directed. I would recommend this movie to everyone, especially fans of Johnny Depp, and of Tim Burton.
