I was upset when 12 Years a Slave won an Oscar for best picture, which Gravity should’ve won, since 12 Years a Slave won 3 out of 9 Oscar nominations. The film is lengthy and it did somewhat lose me about halfway/three-fourths of the way win but when it had me it had me by the balls. At its best this film is amazing providing one of the most engaging, emotional, and powerful films to come out this year. This movie is a must watch for any film buff. Filmmaking can be an art and with some excellent cinematography you can create some powerful moments and this film does that. Chiwetel Ejiofor is so impressive in this incredibly intense, visceral film. (When it ended, nobody in my theater moved for a period of time, and there was no round of applause mostly, it seemed, because of the shock of it all. Clapping didn’t seem like the right thing to do.) The fact that we experience the story from the perspective of a kidnapped free man makes the film instantly relatable. I was so happy to have watched all of Tom Fontana’s excellent “Copper” which features an African American civil war veteran doctor living in New York, and all of his family’s struggles in Five Points. Solomon, a New Yorker kidnapped from Washington DC, could be any of us. The Southern landscape as it likely existed in those days provides such a beautiful-yet- eerie backdrop to this movie. What I particularly appreciate the fact that all the shots are confined you never see very far into the distance. Therefore, this is why I hate and like this film for significant reasons.I was upset when 12 Years a Slave won an Oscar for best picture, which Gravity should’ve won, since 12 Years a Slave won 3 out of 9 Oscar nominations. The wistfulness in this movie is large-souled. Theodore may worry that his love for Samantha makes him a freak, but Amy knows that “anybody who loves is a freak.” All this may sound touchy-feely in the worst way, but Jonze is trying to get at how we seek romantic connection in this brave (or not so brave) new world. Like Theodore, he risks looking foolish. Her is set in a futuristic, but plain America in 2025, where a man named Theodore tries to find love after his wife broke up with him. Later, he falls in love with a computer named Samantha, who could change his live forever. My expectations to this movie were rather big, but I can't help saying I'm a bit disappointed. The movie's theme is interesting, but seenbefore. Yeah, we should be critical towards technology and AI, hence we miss the social, interactive context etc. Great performance by Joaquin Phoenix, but the story is slow and pretty predictable. Long, a lot of dialog, little to no action, no special effects which is true, yet.... I was glued to the screen with interest when watching this movie! Thestory is extremely emotional, deep and some of the subject matter is really out there! Amazing movie! Her is an outstanding movie, in part because of its originality, but also because of its execution. And no, Apple’s devices will not have a mind of its own like an OS. Therefore, this is why I hated the film a bit rather than having mixed feelings to it.The wistfulness in this movie is large-souled. If Inception is a metaphysical puzzle, it's also a metaphorical one: It's hard not to draw connections between Cobb's dream, played by Leonardo DiCaprio-weaving and Christopher Nolan's filmmaking -- an activity devoted to constructing a simulacrum of reality, intended to seduce us, mess with our heads and leave a lasting impression. Mission accomplished. Inception should’ve won an Oscar for best picture, but instead, the British biopic The King’s Speech won that award, which made upset, despite being tied for the most awards of the night at the 83rd Academy Awards. Inception what I call an Original Film with an amazing and incredible script, and we owe to Christopher Nolan for making such a good film, with a clever screenplay, it just blow everything apart I was mesmerized by it. Everything in the movie was fantastic, I have nothing bad to say about it, it was just pure imagination and creation, and i'm very thankful for the existence of this movie. All members of the Cast were outstanding especially, Leonardo, Joseph, Ellen & Marion. This was the movie of 2010, hands down, and don’t trust that guy from Honest Trailers, he’s lying. Anyways, Christopher Nolan has done it again. Dazzling, mindbending, and utterly exciting, "Inception" delivers in almost every conceivable way. I sawit twice during it's opening weekend, and I have every intention of seeing it again. Nolan's film blows every other Summer film out of the water. Therefore, this is why Im in heaven with the summer film of 2010. Tron: Legacy’s soundtrack has a remarkable dramatic beat of combining classical symphony from previous Disney films and Daft Punk’s electronic beats, and it’s the soundtrack that you will never forget, and I mean it! Unlike their previous albums, this is not their official album (excluding Discovery for Interstella 5555), as it’s a soundtrack made for Tron: Legacy, and while we knew this was going to be a score since it was first reported nearly two years ago, it's tough to shake the gloom of blown expectations while listening to the same ominous theme as it repeats in slightly mutated forms across the hour-long soundtrack. The French duo's current move is almost exciting, but it's also an unexpected surprise. Despite most of their tracks aren’t using most electric music, this is the first time that Daft Punk did something different with their music, after the release of Human After All 5 years prior, which many considered as the best album they’ve ever heard. To be honest, Daft Punk must’ve got some inspiration from previous composers such as Howard Shore and Hans Zimmer, and, using their music, it becomes one heck of a score throughout the film, mostly with the orchestra rather than electronic music, which is somewhat annoys me. Therefore, this is the only reason why I don’t like the soundtrack, as it had more orchestra to it than Daft Punk’s electronic music, even though, it had some similar beats from their previous albums, mostly Human After All and Discovery, which were known as their best albums to date.Tron: Legacy’s soundtrack has a remarkable dramatic beat of combining classical symphony from previous Disney films and Daft Punk’s electronic beats, and it’s the soundtrack that you will never forget, and I mean it! He offers us a dose of heavy brostep with all is fair in love and brostep and try it out, unique drops at ease mymind, ragga bomb, which is epic, and recess and some more relaxing songs like fire away and stranger. A very good album. My favourite is all is fair in love and brostep. In this album Skrillex went with more of what I would call house music. I'm not a dj nor do I make music so I do not know how hard orskillful one must be to make the beats and sounds that Skrillex produced in this album. What I do know is that I am hooked on this album. I have listened to it many times already and it still gets regular rotation on my current playlists. It is modern traditional dubstep sounds that Skrillex is known for. It reminds me of the house music I used to listen to back in the 90's. Oh well I enjoy and appreciate it. Many of the elements that drove Skrillex's initial success are still somewhere in the mix on Recess: the suffocating low end, the serrated edges, the industrial-strength aggression, the disorienting collisions of sound shards, the vocals distorted until they sound like alien transmissions. Oh well, it’s not like aliens are coming for us, as they are very far away from us several galaxies into space. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is movie escapism made with intelligence, and that doesn't come around often enough. As I sensed this movie ending I wished it wouldn't, and when it did I wanted the next one now. This somewhat reminds me of Divergent, both with a similar premise, but different societies. I really liked The Hunger Games, it was truly different, original and overall very entertaining and touching. Catching fire is a really big improvement on the first Hunger Games, no shaky cameras first of all. Not always that we get good sequels, this middle installment of a great upcoming trilogy is fun, although gripping and violent, entertaining for everyone looking for a good time. This is a great movie in the Hunger Games series. The story is great, the characters are great and the hunger games itself is way moreenjoyable and creative, thanks to the creative minds of Suzanne Collins. Catching Fire has the bonus of a genuinely charismatic performer at its center. Jennifer Lawrence, now an Oscar winner thanks to "Silver Linings Playbook," emotes like crazy throughout "Catching Fire," but you never catch her acting, so do not trust that guy who did an honest trailer on The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Catching Fire takes what was wrong with the first film, and learns from it. This is the first true Hunger Games adaptation that captures the chaos of the games in full effect. Before I read the book after I saw the movie, I was amazed on being interested for post-apocalyptic books, mostly focusing on post-apocalyptic societies from different books like The Hunger Games saga and the Divergent saga, but for me, The Hunger Games saga serves as a perfect example for highlighting different societies/districts based on how an unknown phenomenon created this. To me, the Hunger Games was like watching something in the future. I know that it leaves out lots of parts, but if they took it right from the book, it would make everyone think that it’s exactly like the book, with lots of details that no one would want to see, but the main points of the book in the film. I had no expectations going into this movie and I really liked it. I enjoyed the build-up and politics up tothe actual games. Woody Harrelson with his usual comic relief. Definitely entertaining. Worth seeing in the theatre for sure!! An effective entertainment, and Jennifer Lawrence is strong and convincing in the central role. But the film leapfrogs obvious questions in its path, and avoids the opportunities sci-fi provides for social criticism. Like the select participants of its savage sport, The Hunger Games stands triumphant, if scarred and a bit wobbly from the contest, which is how it’s like to some people in real life, to be honest. Therefore, this is why I like the film more than the book, due to the climax being epic like a Dawn of the Dead scene. Before I read the book after I saw the movie, I was amazed on being interested for post-apocalyptic books, mostly focusing on post-apocalyptic societies from different books like The Hunger Games saga and the Divergent saga, but for me, The Hunger…

When I expected this film to win an Oscar for best picture, I was shocked that it didn’t, but I concider Gravity to win best picture instead of 12 Years of Slave, as it was the highlighted film to win many Oscars as Slumdog Milllionaire. Gravity was intense and gripping! This movie was shot as a simple survival story in space... but I connected to it even more at a much deeper level. The way that the cinematography was shot, I felt I was in space floating with Sandra Bullock's character, Dr. Ryan Stone... that was a technical achievement in itself... But I was also able to feel what it was like to be in the mind of her character. I feared with her, struggled to survive with her, felt the hopelessness of life and accepted death with her, and then, found air, found new life, and was born again with her. Sandra Bullock has put on an Oscar worthy performance, and it sure did help with Alfonso Cuaron being at the helm to guide this film. What a genius. It's been awhile since I've been deeply absorbed into the thoughts and feelings of a character on screen. This movie was truly a journey and an experience into the mind and soul of Dr. Ryan Stone's character. Wow, such an amazing film. An unforgettable experience! Must see in theaters with the biggest screen you can find. Therefore, this is why I like Gravity, as it should’ve won an Oscar for best pictutre, but someday, it will with other significant awards, like Golden Globe, BAFTAs, and etc………….When I expected this film to win an Oscar for best picture, I was shocked that it didn’t, but I concider Gravity to win best picture instead of 12 Years of Slave, as it was the highlighted film to win many Oscars as Slumdog Milllionaire. Skrillex is a like a boss, as the DJ-producer's latest EP suggests new beats with an "orchestral suite" and a woozy jam stuffed with a few music references. A few months later, EDM has became a popular trend that year, Millions of newcomers were drawn to his unique sound, rock-like stage presence, and awesome beats that is! Love him or hate him, Skrillex has shown time and again that his production skills are impeccable, his energy unmatched, and his artistic vision inspiring. Even though we all know exactly what to expect from Skrillex he still manages to be innovative to other DJs like Avicii and Armin Van Burren. His bass sounds just like we expect it to, and the drops happen right where we know they will. It’s fantastic. To be honest, over a few years, Skrillex (aka Sonny Moore) has done a lot of progress over the years since EDM and/or Dubstep has became popular trends, as he is known for his singles “Bangarang”, “Scary Monsters and Nice Sprits”, and the acclaimed Benny Benassi’s remix of “Cinema”. Despite not being an ablum, due to a shortage of 5 songs, that is what annoys me, since an average album should have atleast 14 songs, so an EP is close enough. Therefore, this is one reason why I don’t like Bangarang, since his skills were up the notch, but not enough, so I agree with his old songs rather than the new ones, and I like Avicii’s music more than Skrillex’s music, so I’m sorry about that.Skrillex is a like a boss, as the DJ-producer's latest EP suggests new beats with an "orchestral suite" and a woozy jam stuffed with a few music references. I usually like to listen to electronic music just because I get how someone can make music out of non-traditional instruments. Eventually, I decided to expand my music horizon a little more and I found some electronic artists to be quite good. I did find a couple electronic artists that I did like at all (I am not going to call of names here), but for the most part, I have found some enjoyment in some electronic artists. As I was looking around for music that is considered the pinnacle of 2011, I stumbled upon an artist known as Avicii and watched a music video by him. "Levels" (stylized as Le7els) had a music video that I didn't really get at all, but I did get a kick out of it. So I got the song and decided to listen to it without the music video as my visual aid (music is good if there’s visual aid) and I would say the song is pretty okay. The beat is pretty repetitive, but it is good enough to dance to not to mention the fact that it is insanely catchy. The vocal in the middle of the song is a bit odd, but it is a nice sprinkle on this electronic cupcake. Not really a song that I could listen to over and over again, but it does have its moments, using a sample from Etta James and Flo Rida’s Good Feeling. When it comes to the realm of dubstep, many people have strong feelings. Is it the greatest thing to have ever happened in the history of ever? Well, its true, thanks to Skrillex’s greatest album called Scary Monsters and Nice Sprits. This album, along with a song based on the same name of the album, is art, as it may be glitchy and wildly unpredictable, but the bizarre barrage of noises Skrillex puts forth in each song always ends up impressing. He claims to have created this entire EP on a laptop in his apartment, but the sounds he put together are nonetheless incredibly complex and irresistible to the ears. In an attempt to give the EP a more “rounded” feel, some of the songs contained within Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites are less crazy than others. “All I Ask of You” is dubstep-free, sounding clean enough to work as a radio single. “With You, Friends (Long Drive)” reuses a melody found in Skrillex’s debut EP, sounding similarly dubstep-free as the previously mentioned track. Ending the EP are some remixes done by other artists. Many of them keep the original feel of the tracks, while changing them up enough to make them seem like a new song. But no one can do it quite like Skrillex, a style where every second is an awesome guessing game of what’s going to happen next. Good news, fairytale/Disney fans! Once Upon a Time is the best original show rather than a complete remake of all the fairytales with a Disney twist. Once Upon a Time is a smartly-crafted reward for fans of light fantasy, with the right mix of cleverness, action and romance. Storybrooke, Maine seems like a combination of all the medieval buildings and turned into one suburban town. To be honest, it’s very cleaver! Like the details, like the storyline, actors, charactors, etc. what a fun show. I have told several people about it and they are watching now. I Cant wait to see more later in the future, mostly for the next season. By the way, fans of the fantastical can do far worse than Once Upon A Time, which manages to both stir the pulse and please the senses with its beautifully imagined medieval times. As season one gets more surprising after each episode, it makes me think “what’s next”, mostly if it involves Rumplestilskin’s magic and his antics that is. But, like other ABC series, Once Upon a Time is not meant for younger kids, as there’s mature content and adult language, since the show was inspired by fairy tales, not remakes of them. This well crafted tale has multi-generational appeal, but its adult themes are best reserved for teens, since they could get used to the violence, the action, and mostly, the romance. The combination of all their songs from previous albums has led to this remixed album, right before Random Access Memories came out. The blitzing "Pimp My Pyramid" scheme. The pulsing honeycomb. The tiny metal heads bobbing up and down. The Lite-Brite leather jacket reveal. The dude in front of me who wouldn't let a pair of crutches stop him from dancing as if the apocalypse were mere minutes away. The sensual explosion that was Daft Punk's Alive 2007 show is difficult to overstate-- or reproduce. Even with the biggest, flattest, sharpest HD set-up, there's no way to sufficiently recreate the most exuberant LED-laden music blowout ever staged. So Daft Punk didn't even try: There will be no Alive 2007 DVD, since they already made Interstella 5555 as a film, which is my only favourite anime to date, since there’s no chinese or English dialogue, and it’s most likely songs from their previous album, Discovery, for the whole film. Anyways, Alive 2007 is the best remixed album to date, with its recontextualizes career nadir Human After All, turning previously leaden songs into ebullient rock'n'roll manifestos; injected with Homework's air-tight Moroder-style anthems or Discovery's flamboyant funk,Human After All tracks are constantly improved and born anew. The live set doesn't simply run through the hits, mindlessly segueing from one smash to another. Instead, well-worn favorites are glued together, cut-up and mashed into pieces. The titular refrains of "Television Rules the Nation" and "Around the World" combine to form the globe's most dance-friendly TV station theme song before the Black Sabbath crunch of "Television" is sent down upon the impossibly buoyant "Crescendolls", resulting in the disc's most unlikely-yet-spectacular roller coaster peak. Meanwhile, the awesome hiss of "Steam Machine" is atomized and given space-age dynamics, turning it from an oddball bore into a fist-pumping celebration of the industrial age. Wisely, the duo also know when to let the bass be, allowing large portions of classics like "Da Funk" and "Burnin'" to work their magic with little robo-meddling. Even without video, Alive 2007 is an exercise in exacting excess, from the blaring "Robot Rock" intro to a wide-eyed power-booster of an encore that layers "One More Time" atop "Music Sounds Better With You"-- a combination so ecstatic it would seem downright cocky if it wasn't so blissful. Since I first watched the trailer for this book, I was excited to both see the film and read the book. The Maze Runner is a truly amazing book that is a combination of The Hunger Games and Divergent, both taking place in post-apocalyptic societies, with a twist. This book was recommended for fans of The Hunger Games and Divergent series, a series that has become one of my favorites. I began The Maze Runner excitedly, hoping for an equally enjoyable, dystopian adventure. I didn't find it. The plot was intriguing and kept me reading; in fact, it was probably the only reason why I kept reading. Some writers are able to seamlessly integrate characterization and good writing with a fast-moving plot; James Dashner is one of them. If Dashner got anything right, to be honest, he delivered with the suspense. The writing can be a little dry and non-descript (maybe it's a guy thing), but once I became involved with the story, I didn't want to put it down. My problem with the book is that Dashner sometimes sacrificed the story for the suspense. It didn't always feel organic, the character choices and the plot direction, and it made me pull out of the story a little. Also, because he built up the suspense so much, the story didn't always deliver. Therefore, this is why I should read this book before the movie, as it is like The Hunger Games and Divergent, but with less fighting, but with a lot of adventure and suspense.Since I first watched the trailer for this book, I was excited to both see the film and read the book. Since I both watched the film and read the book afterwards, The Hunger Games is the best book I’ve ever read, since my interest is on books that take place in a post-apocalyptic society. Since the film excluded many details about the book through Suzanne’s point of view, we could still understand, and, as always, a book is better than a movie. I can certainly see why the book was such a hit. The novel struck many chords and many themes (teenage anguish, love, work, poverty and more), was an easy and quick read, as well as full of action, since many people think The Hunger Games and Divergent are the same, which is both true and false, since there’s fighting and romance, plus a post-apocalyptic society, but The Hunger Games has more action into the book since many characters die in the book. For me though, and I understand perfectly, well I’m the target audience, the love triangle was cliché, but I loved the violence and speed of this novel. The constant suspense kept me turning page after page as, I assume, most of those who read the book. Once I got over my name prejudice, I even liked the protagonist – a bow and arrow wielding female Wilhelm Tell, how can you not like her? Therefore, this is why I like The Hunger Games more than Divergent, and I hope to see Mockingjay, part 1 this year, since it’s the climax of the first book, and hopefully, I could read Mockingjay someday………..Since I both watched the film and read the book afterwards, The Hunger Games is the best book I’ve ever read, since my interest is on books that take place in a post-apocalyptic society. When Divergent first came out on March 21, 2014, I was not ready to see it due to the fact that I didn’t read the book before being adapted into a film. As someone who hasn't read the books, I really enjoyed it. Honestly I didn't expect to like it after reading some of the reviews but it was good. The story of Divergent takes place in a post-apocalyptic Chicago, much like The Hunger Games, where both books/films take place in post-apocalyptic cities. But unlike The Hunger Games, Divergent takes place in a world where people are divided into fractions based on human virtues, but when a young girl named Tris Prior is considered a Divergent, she allies with a man named Four to end a war lead by the fraction leader responsible for destroying all Divergents . The film and the book are exactly the same, with no changes to the film. Many people are think that Divergent is similar to The Hunger Games, as there’s fighting love, courage, hope and sacrifice. Because there’s some genuinely great ideas in the film, and some terrific character work, but it’s given such uneven attention, alternately languished upon and glossed over, that the portrait director Neil Burger creates feels complete without, well, making us feel a whole lot else. Divergent is almost good enough to make you forget what a cynical exercise it is on every possible level. The original 2011 young adult novel by Veronica Roth — reasonably engrossing, thoroughly disposable — reads exactly like what it is: an ambitious young author’s attempt to re-write “The Hunger Games” without bringing the lawyers down on her head. Therefore, this is why I like the film, just like the book, if I could read that book one day……….When Divergent first came out on March 21, 2014, I was not ready to see it due to the fact that I didn’t read the book before being adapted into a film. 28 years after “Battle for the planet of the apes”, which was the final installment for the famous original franchise, in 2001, Tim Burton had decided to direct a re-imagined remake of the 1968 film, Planet of the Apes, which had apes taking over, but with many changes in the remake, it wasn’t entertaining as the original was, due to the confusing plot. The reason why is because in the 1968 film, “Planet of the Apes” took place on a post-apocalyptic Earth, while in the remake, it took place on an unknownplanet called Ashlar in the year 5021, with no references to Earth in the film, and how it happened. Even though it was a disaster, the remake had financial success, but decided not to do a sequel and instead, rebooted the “Planet of the Apes” franchise, starting with “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” in 2011, which I did a review on. Tim Burton's "reinvention" of '68 sci-fi classic boasts awesome makeup and design -- and awful writing, which explains why it wasn’t like the 1968 film. The 2001 Planet of the Apes is not a remake, and it's not a sequel. It is an amazing display of imagination. To be honest, this is atleast better than the 1968 film, and its original sequels, as it contains modern sci-fi tech and better, but awful monologue, and the visual effects are amazing. It also contains the famous tagline from the original “Planet of the Apes” such as “Get your stinking hands off me, you damn dirty human!”. Therefore, this is why the 2001 remake had some setbacks for writing, while being a success for its effects.28 years after “Battle for the planet of the apes”, which was the final installment for the famous original franchise, in 2001, Tim Burton had decided to direct a re-imagined remake of the 1968 film, Planet of the Apes, which had apes taking over,…

Avicii changes a little bit his style, only to obtain amazing results. I think that the songs are well structured with the enough amount of"beat". Avicii will stay at the top the rest of the year, since his hit singles “Wake Me Up”, “Hey Brother”, and “Addicted to You”, all became at the top of billboard charts after the album’s release. Since then True is an album that takes one type of music and moulds it into something completely different, allowing Avicii to cement himself as one of the best DJs in the world. This also explain why he was chosen to remix “Derezzed” featuring Negin for Disney’s Dconstructed, which I also reviewed the EDM album itself. Following the success of such tracks as “Levels” and “Silhouettes,” Avicii vaulted to a new mainstream level with the success of “Wake Me Up,” the first single from “True.” In the U.S., the single, featuring soul singer/rapper Aloe Blacc on vocals and Incubus’s Mike Einziger on acoustic guitar, has climbed into the top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100, while it has gone No. 1 in 22 other countries. The song, which combines an acoustic guitar, folky melody with Blacc’s striking vocals, and Avicii’s beats sounds like it shouldn’t work, but it does... beautifully. Therefore, this is why Avicii’s latest album is the best out of all the other EDM albums, but this is just the beginning.Ever since Avicii’s latest song “Levels” became a hit, his full album “True” came out almost a year ago. Since this is the first time that I read Alcatraz Versus the Evil Librarians for my mystery book project, I find this novel funny with a great sense of humour because it takes place in a dystopian land separated in fractions, as Alcatraz Semdry is known as an oculator for breaking stuff unexpectedly, and is being considered a hero, or, in other words as I describe this book: Deadpool living in a dystopian world where is is known as a hero. The reason why Alcatraz is like Deadpool is because they both break the fourth wall between the storyline of each chapter, and that they are good at fighting (excluding Alcatraz for breaking stuff). Therefore, I think that, to be honest, that this novel feels more of a children movie, due to the fact that Alcatraz made many mistakes within the novel, like when he was saying stupid stuff after Bastille tells him that he is stupid. Overall, I recommend you to read this humour dystopian novel because a hero with an incredible talent...for breaking things. A life-or-death mission...to rescue a bag of sand. A fearsome threat from a powerful secret network...the evil Librarians. Alcatraz Smedry doesn't seem destined for anything but disaster when on his 13th birthday he receives a bag of sand, which is quickly stolen by the cult of evil Librarians plotting to take over the world. The sand will give the Librarians the edge they need to achieve world domination. Alcatraz must stop them!...by infiltrating the local library, armed with nothing but eyeglasses and a talent for klutziness, which the adventure never stops, after each one, for Alcatraz's beginning as an oculator!Since this is the first time that I read Alcatraz Versus the Evil Librarians for my mystery book project, I find this novel funny with a great sense of humour because it takes place in a dystopian land separated in fractions, as Alcatraz Semdry is…

Since I just watched this recently, I think that Cloud Atlas combines every single genre involving the sextet that makes each story important to another story, since they all lead to each clue, each situation, and each problem that the characters from each story go through. Whatever your age, even if life is an ocean made up of many drops, you may resolve that life is too short for this errant nonsense, although even if it had a large box office, it wasn't the highest-grossing film of 2012 or all time, which makes it disappointing, but not for me, as there's courage, hope, love, and sacrifice that makes each story a heart-warming or a heart-breaking tale that will make you feel emotional, since the Wachowskis and Tom Tykwer did a successful job combing all these genres into one big epic timeline, with elements similar and far off from The Matrix, putting a more modern twist for the first four stories, while they have used technology similar to The Matrix in the last two stories, since everything is connected to one another. It would be an excellent advertisement for you to read the book, if you hadn't just ruined it by watching the movie, since Cloud Atlas has a close resemblance to its book adaption, with the plot, setting, and characters having some minor changes. Therefore, I give Cloud Atlas a 7/10 because in some secnes, it gets a little bit confusing about the information of each actor/actress portraying the same character with lead roles and minor roles, and I can't tell who's leading or not, but I understand the rest of the story.Since I just watched this recently, I think that Cloud Atlas combines every single genre involving the sextet that makes each story important to another story, since they all lead to each clue, each situation, and each problem that the characters…

Revolution is an epic post-apocalyptic thriller that is set in a post-apocalyptic Earth 15 years later in 2027 when every single piece of electricity has unknowingly blacked out, forcing all of humanity to settle in a world without electricity. During the blackout, governments were collapsed, causing Militias to take over everything, and the countries of United States, Mexico, and Canada were separated into six republics, called the Monroe Republic, the Georgia Federation, the Plains Nation, Texas, the California Commonwealth, and the Wasteland. The series follows the Matheson family, mainly consisting of Miles, his daughter Charlie, and his wife Rachel, as they are trying to reverse the effects of the blackout using Miles' pendent diguised as a USB drive, but they have to avoid being conflicted with the Milita, led my Sebastian Monroe, as he wanted to take over the United States without power. Since the setting s similar to Divergent (excluding where they had power), both takes place in Chicago, and since post-apocalyptic became popular recently, I give Revolution a 7/10 due to plot being told throughout season 1, but the lack later in season 2, six months after the events from season 1. Therefore, I think this show is better than any other shows, like Terra Nova, and it has a setting where most cities were destroyed by disasters (tsunamis, earthquakes, tornadoes, and hurricanes), which were not explained but shown. It is revealed that the technology that wiped out all of electricity was nanotechnology which was in control and taking over people's minds. This is not the end, because there is hope out there that will restore all of electricity.Revolution is an epic post-apocalyptic thriller that is set in a post-apocalyptic Earth 15 years later in 2027 when every single piece of electricity has unknowingly blacked out, forcing all of humanity to settle in a world without electricity.…

Slumdog Millionaire is a romantic drama thriller that had me enjoyed, thanks to A.R. Rahman's score, this movie had felt like any bollywood movie that I see on TV, except that they are speaking tamil all the way, which represents my culture. It tells how Jamal Malik recounts his events that feel like they were based on a true story, but much like what we see in India today. Slumdog Millionaire is a film that is so upbeat and colourful, by the time you're relaying its infectious air of optimism to friends, you could forget that it features orphans, slaughter, organised crime, poverty, enslavement and police brutality, which is similiar to what we see today (child labor, child abuse, homelessness, etc.). The film has a close resemblance to Q & A by Vikas Swarup, with the plot and setting being the same, except that most of the characters are different between the film and the book, but with the same traits. Because of Sulmdog Millionaire's success, this was one of Danny Boyle's best film to date, winning 8 Academy Awards, including best picture. To be honest, this is my favourite hindu oscar film due to its culture and life that we see in India, and especally, everywhere, because homelessness, crime, poverty, and brutality are the main points in the film and the book itself. Therefore, I recommend this film if your indian or not, to enjoy this entertaining of 2008, as of 2014, unless you watched in actual India many times and wondering like the phrase "Jai Ho!"Slumdog Millionaire is a romantic drama thriller that had me enjoyed, thanks to A.R. 10 years after the 2001 remake of Planet of the Apes, 2011 had a reboot of the franchise after Tim Burton's failure on remaking the film, so we see the reboot called Rise of the Planet of the Apes, with a similar premise of Conquest of the Planet of the Apes, but not a direct remake to it. The storyline starts off when scientist Will Rodman tests out a drug called ALZ-112 on chimpanzees so he could try to find cure to end diseases such as Alzheimer's Disease on his father. When he tries it on a chimp named Bright Eyes, which increases her intelligience, but when she is forced to come out of her cage, she goes on a rampage and she is killed, so that she could protect her newborn baby. This causes Will to take care of the chimp, and he names him "Caesar". As time passes by, Caesar becomes peaceful to our kind, until he ends up in an ape sanctuary and he works together with other apes to escape and wreck havoc in the streets of San Francisco. Afterwards, Caesar says that he is home in the Muir Woods, but unbeknownst to them, a plague has started that is so deadly, many, many people die but there is hope, as this is not the end. Overall, Rise of the Planet of the Apes has some life to it as an action film, but every time anyone opens their mouth, man or beast, you'll feel like someone figured out a way to sneak in groundbreaking CGI into your middle schooler's class play, although unlike the original previous films, where it is destroyed by humanity, Rise ends with a plague called ALZ-113 was caused by Franklin, who spreads it to Will's neighbour, Douglas Hunsiker, and later, billions and billions of people, but this is not the end. Therefore, I think this explains the origins of how the Planet of the Apes will be formed modernly through each film, as the apes will become intelligent like us, but for humanity, we have to survive for everything.10 years after the 2001 remake of Planet of the Apes, 2011 had a reboot of the franchise after Tim Burton's failure on remaking the film, so we see the reboot called Rise of the Planet of the Apes, with a similar premise of Conquest of the Planet…

With EDM becoming popular this year, Disney has decided to release "Dconstructed", remixed versions of Disney songs from movies, tv shows, theme parks, and more, with Armin Van Buuren's remix of Frozen's "Let it go", by the way, he did an awesome remixing this song, perfect on the radio or a dance mix, am I right? Anyways, the point is that there are advantages and disadvantages to this album that Disney had made, and, to be honest, most of them are true. The advantages were that Disney had include Swedish DJ Avicii, who's known for his remixing skills, and for his remix on Daft Punk's "Derezzed" from Tron: Legacy, whom he previously collaborated with on Tron: Legacy Reconfigured, at first, for those who have Reconfigured, it sounds the same, until you hear a female singer by the name of Negin, whom Avicii collaborated with, although many people think he plagiarised his song, he didn't, as he edited some beats and added a singer who we don't know or heard her sing before. Also, most of its songs have a very hard beat to it, like "Turn down for What", mostly focused on Yogi's remix of Monster's University's "Roar", and Mat Zo's remix of The Lion King's "Circle of Life", which blends the elements of fast-beat drums and hip hop, making this a perfect song for a performance, and I agree, they should've put his remix on the broadway version, am I right? On the other hand, there comes the disadvantages that Disney had made unexpectedly, so I have to let them roll down on memory lane. The disadvantages were that Disney, unbeknownst to them, made Dconstructed a Children's album, which I recommend to not be for little children from ages 5 to 9, especially if they have syndromes like Autism, and their reactions will be worse than you imagined. For example, on Shy Kidx's remix of The Muppet Show's theme song, at first, it sounds like a electro bass, but afterwards, you hear the g-major lyrics, causing them to flip out of control, while if they are used to it, your fine. Also, Disney made a waste of time releasing Dconstructed, which made many EDM fans disappointed, while Disney fans are liking it, since, to be honest, the remixes weren't strong for the most part, while few I like, including Trion's remix of Sleeping Beauty's "Once Upon a Dream", which sounded like "Party Rock Anthem" for the most part. Therefore, I like Dconstructed, but not most of it, as they weren't EDM enough for a true EDM fan, and I apologize for what I said, although Disney had a first try to this! With EDM becoming popular this year, Disney has decided to release "Dconstructed", remixed versions of Disney songs from movies, tv shows, theme parks, and more, with Armin Van Buuren's remix of Frozen's "Let it go", by the way, he did an awesome…
